Abstract

Private Universities (PTS) are universities whose establishment and management are carried out by the community that forms an organization or organizing body. In the ranking of private universities in the Madura region, four (4) criteria are used, namely accreditation, sinta score, number of articles, citations. The ranking process for private universities that has been carried out so far has become something interesting because on the one hand it can be a challenge and a selling point for private universities, but on the other hand it becomes a dilemma because the measuring tools used vary from one institution to another. The method used is the AHP-TOPSIS hybrid method. The combination of AHP and TOPSIS methods was chosen on the grounds that the Analytical Hierarchy Prosess (AHP) method has advantages based on a pairwise comparison matrix, the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method has a concept where the best chosen alternative does not only have the shortest distance from the solution. positive ideal but also has a negative ideal distance. The results of this study place that the code A11 ranks first with a score of 0.733, the second order code A1 with a score of 0.546, the third order code A2 with a score of 0.420, the fourth order code A16 with a score of 0.276 and fifth place with code A13 with a score of 266.
