Penerapan Nilai Moderasi Beragama Di Kalangan ASN Kemenag Kota Palangka Raya

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country with very rich cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity. The application of religious moderation values among the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Palangka Raya City is very important to create a harmonious and tolerant society. In the context of the diversity faced, ASN Kemenag plays a role as a role model in instilling an attitude of tolerance and respect for differences through educational and socialization programs. By prioritizing interfaith dialogue and collaboration with various elements of society, the application of religious moderation values is expected to reduce the potential for conflict and strengthen unity, as well as support social stability in the community. This study aims to explore the strategies, challenges, and impacts of implementing these values in the context of public services in Palangka Raya City. Research on the application of religious moderation values among the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Palangka Raya City uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Interviews were conducted with ASN Kemenag of Palangkaraya City, and other communities to explore their views on religious moderation and the challenges faced in its implementation. The results of this study indicate that religious moderation is a crucial concept in creating harmony amidst diversity. ASN Kemenag Kota Palangka Raya has become an example in practicing this value, and with proper reinforcement, its impact can be felt by the wider community.
