Journal of Arabic Language Learning and Teaching (JALLT) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal and follows a double-blind review policy. This journal is published by Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan,  Universitas Islam Negeri Palangka Raya. The journal has been indexed in DOAJ and accredited (SINTA 2) as a scientific journal under the decree issued by the Direktur Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains dan Teknologi, Indonesia, dated 2 January 2026 (Decree Number 2/C/C3/KPT/2026), with the accreditation valid until 2028.

The scope of JALLT addresses Arabic Language Teaching (ALT) areas in the context of Arabic as a foreign and second language in general and specifically in Indonesia. Topics might be about Arabic as a foreign and second language in University, madrasah (Islamic schools), and pesantren (Islamic boarding schools). Is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject. 

 The official language of the manuscript to be published in the JALLT journal is multilingual (English and Arabic).
